A late-ripening, highly disease resistant red apple. A parent to the commercially popular Cosmic Crisp apple. It ripens in late October to early November which, combined with its disease resistance, makes it a perfect choice when planting for deer. Flavor improves with storage, and it is a popular cooking apple. Requires another variety for pollination.
Fuji, Liberty, and Wolf River can all serve as pollinators.
